With over one hundred volunteers, Ryedale Carers Support is able to provide respite care for people looking after someone full-time.
As well as relieving carers, they also provide volunteers who befriend older people living on their own, alleviating social isolation.
The charity currently helps over 200 families, supporting carers by providing both social and emotional support.
